How can I work with you?
We can find ways to work together in a variety of ways. Perhaps the best way to understand the ways we can work together will be for me
to list a few typical scenarios.

You are a designer or producer with a web project or cdrom project ready for programming. You have sold the project
to the client, finished the information architecture and the clients have approved all the graphical design. Now you
need someone to code the website and perhaps help setup hosting or mastering for it.
This is probably my most common work scenario these days. In this case, I am the last guy on the creative/production cycle.
I will handle integrating the various assets, pictures, audio/video assets, graphical design, 3D or some other specialised
functionality, etc.
I will do the programming (aka. write the code) that will glue the whole project together. I
fully understand that the user experience is design driven and I can handle just about anything you can throw at me in
terms of design and functionality requirements. Essentially what happens is you hand me what I need to understand and complete
the project and I hand you back a completed project.
For this kind of project I will not require alot of time in the front end (design) of the project, other than a few "Can we
do this and how long will it take and how much will it cost?" type of questions I am usually not involved at all. It will be
best if I knew that a project like this is coming down the pipeline about a month before you need me to start on it.
Scheduling is often fluid in my world.

Whether it's a special function calculator for your web users, or a complete AJAX or xmlhttprequest driven frontend, or a
Flash or HTML based shopping cart, or maybe you need to deliver streaming media or have video conferencing
requirements. I have done it. Even though I have listed mostly frontend or clientside expertise, my experience also includes ASP and ASP.NET coding.
I can deliver websites on clustered servers with "plug-in and serve" functionality. Or maybe you just need
the HTML with "wires hanging", a term we use to describe clientside functionality, ready for
your IT team to merge with their backend technology. Perhaps you only need a single component, like scripts for accessing
or querying a database and presentation of the data. I can do it. Call me to chat
about your project requirements, or just to trade shop talk (my wife calls this "geeking out") with another professional.

a business plan and a generalised idea of what you need and what and how you want to see things happen. You have a realistic budget!.
Even though I no longer do as much design as I used to , I still speak
the language of design. I have many resources that I can call upon. I
know graphic and information designers, media brokers, independent
producers, project managers and even venture funding resources. These
are incredible people that I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work
with over the past decade and a half, folks with whom I’ve collaborated
to produce many successful projects.
I can consult with you about the team that you need, and help you put
together the resources that you need to work out the details of your
project. A project oriented team that can help you see it through the
various stages of production, meet the goals of your funding rounds and
finally, the implementation and rollout.

The examples used in the scenarios above are only a few of the hundreds of projects I have been involved with. Most of my portfolio cannot
be listed here because of non disclosures or because they can only exist on intra/extranets or other medium like CDROMs or DVDs.
I want to be a solution, not a problem.
I strive to remain flexible and easy to work with. To maintain a positive demeanor and outlook.
In every project there will be things and events that are beyond anybody's control. A professional's worth is his/her ability
to negotiate these unknowns and still deliver your product to your expectations. Experience helps in these situations, having been
there and faced with similar situations in the past, I can often come up with a solution., many times before my client even knows there will be a problem.
