Generally speaking, “Community Build” describes a playground project in which members of a community take a more hands-on approach to the design, organization and construction of their playground. Exactly what level of hands-on involvement is up to you and your fellow community members.

When we say “community,” we mean any group of people working together to attain a common goal — parents who desire better play facilities for their children, neighbors seeking a neighborhood gathering place, or even co-workers supporting a worthy cause.

A Community Build requires adequate time for planning, design, fundraising and installation. LSI can provide you with the tools and materials you need to plan, organize and execute a Community Build according to your resources and needs.
