• Play value – providing opportunities for challenge, interaction and adventure.
• How the play area fits within the surrounding environment, including circulation, shade, play equipment selection, accessibility, safety surfacing and containment, adjacent seating and other site furnishings.
• The creativity shown in meeting a unique challenge – for example, developing a theme area within a small space, building the play area into a challenging landscape, such as a hill or rooftop, or any circumstances which the entrant believes would deem the installation exceptional.
